Time is ___.

When the president of the United States sits in the oval office, he knows time is ticking.; just a matter of time before he’s labeled as the former president.
As children file into class each day, they know it’s only a matter of time before school ends, summer begins, and a new year will cycle over.
And, when a farmer plants a crop one season, he knows it’s only a matter of months, then days, until it grows, ripens, and is picked to harvest and sell.
Time is the shell with which a chick is hatched from, a bond is strengthened, a new hit single is made.
Some relationships will heal with time, others will dissolve without notice. Children slowly develop until one day you’re looking at a seemingly different being altogether.
Time is sneaky, it’s dangerous, powerful even.
We blame time for taking our loved ones, for not making the deadlines, for not living a healthy lifestyle. We blame something that is waiting for us to mold it.
Everyone currently living is living within the same moment you are.
I don’t care if it’s 10:30 pm where you are and 5 am across the globe. Somewhere in this world, there is someone whose breathing is in sync with your own, your steps glide to the same rhythm.
The way in which we measure and determine time is a human invention with no definite stance in this world, but what we do with our time, who we let take our time, and how much we value our time is something each individual has complete control over.
We regret not visiting more when we lose a loved one, not taking more pictures of our children as they grew. We spend hours editing and posting images to social media, watching makeup tutorials on YouTube, and making plans every weekend with friends to visit the latest clubs and watch the newest blockbusters, but our parents sit wondering why we haven’t responded to their missed calls over the last couple of weeks, and why our grandma is sitting in a retirement home awaiting the visit we promised to make “soon”.
If there is a dream you wish to make a reality in this lifetime, then work PRODUCTIVELY to accomplish it, but MAKE time to talk to and visit loved ones, both friends and family. MAKE time to prepare healthier meals, MAKE time to get the laundry done. You will not FIND time for the things you wish to do. Time has been there since before humans roamed the Earth, but it’s determination and measurement is in our hands, and what we do with it is just as personal.
Time may be flying, it may be ticking, it may be running, or it may even seem frozen, but make every moment of it count. Don’t be BUSY, be PRODUCTIVE.

“The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot.” – Michael Altshuler
“Only the guy who isn’t rowing has time to rock the boat.” – Jean-Paul Sartre
“We all make time for what we feel is important in our lives.” – unknown
” 3 things you cannot recover in life: the WORD after it’s said, the MOMENT after its missed, and the TIME after it’s gone.” – unknown
